1. Leader of a band of assassins dies without declaring his replacement; let the fight for power begin.
2. A detective's child is kidnapped and must team up with a killer to find the child.
If either idea interest you, feel free to reply to this thread.

I didn't get these ideas from a site.
The first is a club idea I pitched/briefly had on CoH, except this one is limited to a specific plot. It was known as World of Chance, which followed both the leaders/corporations of major countries and three bands of assassins that target them. It is set in a parallel universe where the United States, England, and Japan have colonized the majority of the world through corporate outsourcing.
The second is from the novel I'm writing. My main character is a writer that writes about an anti-hero (murderer) named Kris that is based off of a 1986 American Girl doll named Kristen. However, in the brief excerpt of exploration for Kris, I had Kris murder the detective, which marks the first murder that Kris didn't feel was justified.
Come to think of it, both of these ideas are from stories I write. World of Chance was based off a short story I wrote about Callie Santiago (leader of the Santiago band of assassins, who recently killed her father) and Luke Galloway (next-in-line to the throne of England).

Well, I have seen a site that uses almost the exact same language you did in describing these particular plots. My mistake.
