Hello, everybody! This list is a compilation of things that need to be done on the site. Please take a look and let me know if you get these done- Anime and Crimson will become mods here so they can help better. Also, please don't post too much on here in an effort to keep it clean. Thank you!

I was thinking 14+ because fourteen-year-olds can handle sexual/explicit scenes and language because of age and maturity. I had an idea regarding sex scenes- we should have a sub-board underneath every genre for sexual scenes so members don't have to see them if they don't and we should require a rating in the title of the sex scene thread so people are aware of how explicit it is. What do you think?

I would say just have an explicit content warning, because ultimately it is their decision to be honest about their age. The first site I created that had explicit content one of the members ended up being on the young side (I can't remember the exact age) and didn't care about the explicit content (not that they understood it), but an older member had a problem with it, so I argue it isn't about age so much as maturity. Also, as we get older, we forget how much younger children know...

As for genre categories, I suggest we just take the categories from a site like fictionpress.com and fanfiction.net, as a starting point. We can work with those as a starting point.

I think 14+ is a great age range for sexual conduct, we do forget that there are ten year old that know more about sex than some of us, but knowing the age would be wise, just to make sure they are 14 or older. But it is their choice whether to do it or not.

I am not arguing the age range--I agree with 14+, I was offering an alternative to just stating 14+ rating on the sexually explicit threads.

I am not challenging the idea of a board either. I am offering a perspective on how to mark that it is explicit. Example:

As for the genres, I like the few we have already. we should continue in that direction. We can start out broad and get more specific where necessary.
Futuristic, Paranormal, Human/Humanoid, Animal, Magic/Supernatural.
